“There are definite crossovers between the team’s race fans and Garage customers, so it’s a no-brainer to use the platform to promote the other arm of our business and its capabilities. “We have some of the best mechanics, fabricators and designers all under one roof, so we are able to provide a top quality service. “Initially concepted during COVID lockdown in 2020, Erebus Garage is an exciting and natural extension of our business,” Erebus CEO Barry Ryan said. The livery also highlights the company’s relationships with industry leaders Hare & Forbes, Pedders Suspension & Brakes, United Speed Shop and Snap-on Tools. The venture’s logo, which incorporates a checkered flag to symbolise the business’ racing heritage, will take prime position on the bonnet, doors and boot of the #9 Commodore. Up until now Stewart’s liveries have mimicked the rolling sponsorship program that has run on Will Brown’s Commodore throughout 2021, though this week will see a brand new design. Stewart’s car will feature the branding of the team’s streetcar arm, Erebus Garage for Wednesday night’s showdown at Phillip Island.
